"Your Natural Diet: Alive Raw Foods"
by T. C. Fry and David Klein
During our first few years of our raw food diet awakening many of us become super enthusiastic about wanting to help everyone we know get and embrace the raw food message. And many of us rub people the wrong way with our zeal.
We want to save the world and heal everyone who is sick. However, not everyone is open to be "saved" ( maybe its not yet their time). Despite our best intentions, most people need the freedom to figure out if the raw food diet approach is good for them So it is usually best to "plant seeds", give information - show the aquaintance a copy of some good raw food book and perhaps invite them to a juice bar - IF she or he is open to listening and learning, and let go of the outcome, dont be attached to the result. Your "seeds" may need a while to germinate!
Understand that easiest way to get through to someone´s head is through their heart: people want and need to be treated lovingly and kindly. When we try to help someone while we are anxious, irritated or angry at them (or the world), the person will pick up on that, via your verbal, body language, or psychic communication, and they will feel as if they are being attacked. We need to be at ease and coming from our heart when we are educating and intending to help others.
Use the attitude that you are simply an educator (or "gardener") presenting wonderful information that has helped many people. Do not force or preach the information - present it when the opportunity opens up and you sense no tension. To become an effective "raw food info presenter" it helps immensely to practice your message delivery by yourself or with a raw food friend.
Be congruent with your message - if you are ill or healing and do not yet appear a model of raw food health, be mindful that image sells, and if your message is bombastic, your image may repel. When you become healthy and are glowing with vitality then you will be better help for others - your countenance will do the selling on its own!
Be aware of your own raw food attitude - avoid becoming a raw food fanatic. Remember: food is not life - raw food is simply one of many ingredients which together comprise the whole health recipe.
Be mindful when communicating with others, and remember that angels fly high because they take themselves lightly.
